Starbucks Goes Red for World Aids Day

Today is the 20th anniversary of World Aids Day. Each year on December 1, individuals and organizations from around the world come together to bring attention to the global AIDS epidemic. This year Starbucks, has partnered with (RED) on World AIDS Day by offering 3 exclusive beverages, with 5 cents from each purchase going to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS and HIV. The special drinks are available in participating stores in the U.S. and Canada from Thursday, November 27 through January 2, 2009. However only on December 1, Starbucks will extend the five cent contribution to every drink purchased at a participating store.
