According to an anonymous source speaking to MTV News not only is DJ Hero is trademarked by Activision, the title is actually in the works.
Unfortunately, there’s little information at this point other then that the mash-up mechanic is proving to be a “licensing nightmare” for Activision. Any other leaks or official announcments will be up when they hit.
