The critically-reviled Hancock started off powerful with a $17.3M Wednesday opening (from its full run in 3,965 venues), easily landing it to a #1 finish.
That said, the Will Smith/Charlize Theron actioner should have a fairly easy time reaching $100M for the 5-day holiday.
