The Bourne Conspiracy trailer

For the most part, the success rate of video game adaptations of popular major motion pictures have been fairly slim. The games that have stuck out though are arguably GoldenEye, Spider-Man 2, and Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay even though that game was technically a prequel to the film Pitch Black.
It does give me joy to see the potential of The Bourne Conspiracy a third person espionage game that chronicles the intricacies of one Jason Bourne, created by author Robert Ludlum. If there ever was a film that needed to be turned into a video game it would have to be The Bourne films which have thrilled audiences alike.
And though it is disappointing that the Jason Bourne model doesn’t look or sound like Matt Damon, judging by the trailer it seems to have the same high level action that the three films delivered.
The Bourne Conspiracy (PS3, XBOX 360) is set for release summer 2008.
