This Is Comedy, People

In what is becoming an increasingly unfunny comedy troupe (have you seen those StepBrothers trailers?), Judd Apatow and co. has just announced their next amazingly fresh idea. (And in about 20 minutes, they’ll announce their next one after that.)
Sacha Baron Cohen will be playing a funny Sherlock Holmes and Will Ferrell his crimesolving partner, Watson in a new Columbia Pictures release. Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) is writing the script and Apatow is producing.
This will mark the first teaming between Cohen and Ferrell since their summer smash Talladega Nights.
However, this is not the only Holmes movie in studio development. Warner Brothers also has one, aptly called Sherlock Holmes, with Madonna “hubby” Guy Ritchie set to direct. We assume — and hope — this one is a drama.
