Kevin, Joe & Nick’s new CD A Little Bit Longer is due in stores on August 12th and how we know this is because that dreamy trio is EVERYWHERE.  They recently gave an interview about their music, their hobbies and their most embarrassing mishaps.

On That New Album:
Joe: “It’s kind of a continuation of the Jonas Brothers title record. It’s definitely not a completely different change in any means, but this record was definitely been inspired by some of the artists we look up to.”

Like????
Joe: “Some of our influences are Elvis Costello, Prince, Johnny Cash, The Zutons, some Band of Horses, some bands that are just like, we just really find musically amazing.”

What’s fun for the Jonas Brothers?
Kevin: “We all really love to go play golf and it’s a big thing for us. We definitely enjoy it. It’s our getaway. We can just go out onto the green and just be alone and enjoy being outside. It’s amazing.”

And what about those mishaps?
Joe: “My most embarrassing moment ever I’d probably say the AMAs, American Music Awards. I actually — if you guys have seen it on YouTube already — I tripped and fell. It was part of one of the stage sets where we had this huge glass panel in front of us that would crack and we would walk through. But I, rather than walking through, I fell through! I got my foot caught on something. So, it’s pretty embarrassing, but at the same time I was able to laugh at myself. We kind of think about it now as a good thing because a lot of people started talking about us, the news and everything. So, our performance actually got viewed more than some of the other performances that night.”

The immensely popular trio will be performing with the gorgeous Demi Lovato this Friday at the Cricket Wireless Pavillion in Phoenix.

Elvis Costello? Johnny Cash? If those are their influences, why do they sound like Rachel Leigh Cook in “Josie & The Pussycats”?
