grillpot Top 5 Summer Grilling GadgetsI’ll be honest- I don’t grill. In fact, I’m not good with fire in general. This stems back to one ill-fated night with a candle left burning, and a flammable bedspread. Every since I lived through that, I tend to stay away from open flames. But that’s not to say I don’t love a good open flame BBQ. I just have the men in my life do the cooking. Grilling is only partially about feeding yourself and friends. It’s also a time to show off grilling gear. Your next BBQ isn’t just about those dry rubbed ribs. Be sure- people will be checking out your grill, your technique and your “now I’m just showing off” tools.

Here are the top 5 grill gadgets for summer. Don’t just grill. You need grill flair.

Mesh Grill-Top Chef’s Pot, $49.95- Generously sized pot expands the range of things you can cook on the grill. Made of heavy gauge steel, these pots have deep sides and an attached lid. Give everything from diced vegetables to small shrimp that smoky summer flavor.

Chef’s Thermometer Fork, $29.95- Insert the stainless steel prongs into the cooking meat and instantly read the internal temperature. Love!

Weber Summit S-650 Gas Grill, $2,000.00- You’re not going to get very far without the grill. Go big. Go for the Cadillac of grills. This Weber grill is a masterpiece. This grill might be nicer than my entire kitchen… that’s all I’m saying.
