Twilight’s Robert Pattinson Shames His Honor
Posted on 05 November 2008 by Manny
In what was supposed to be a great honor and shining moment for the Twilight and Harry Potter star, Robert Pattison, quickly turned to embarrassment when he couldn’t muster the strength to put imprint his hands in cement.
The 22-year-old actor was in NYC, being honored at Planet Hollywood, when he was delayed, which let the cement dry. Even though Pattinson has superhuman strength in Twilight, it doesn’t hold true in real life.
Needless to say, Pattinson’s face turned red from either the force he was putting into trying to imprint his hands in the cement, or from sheer embarrassment from failing in front of all his screaming female fans. He was able to get help from an equally mortified assistant, as she pushed each of his fingers down one-by-one. Good to see the English actor’s “softer” side, too bad it’s in his hands.
