Vodka- More than Just A Strong Cosmo

I’m as big a fan of vodka as the next gal. Nothing says Friday cocktail hour better than a Cranberry Lime Cosmopolitan. Little did I know that vodka can be used for so much more than a tasty drink. It’s practically a household solvent. Don’t believe me? Here’s some of the ways that you can use vodka without touching your martini glass or shaker tin.
Remove a bandage without simultaneously waxing your arm hair. Soak the bandage in vodka for a few minutes- it will dissolve the adhesive!
Clean jewelry by soaking it in vodka for 5 minutes, rinse and dry.
Vodka on the face, not in the face. Put a bit of vodka on a cotton ball and swipe across the face. The astringent will clean your face and tighten pores.
Swish a shot of vodka over an aching tooth to relieve a nasty tooth ache. Allow your gums to absorb some of the alcohol, helping to numb the ache. Swallow the vodka and you’ll feel even better.
Add an ounce of vodka into a 12 ounce bottle of shampoo. The alcohol will help to cleanse the scalp, remove toxins from hair and stimulate the growth of healthy hair.
See, I think the Russians are onto something. Isn’t vodka awesome!?
