Wahlberg Can’t Stop Fighting

Actor Mark Wahlberg has always been a fighter, but now he’s getting paid for it. The former Oscar nominee has landed the starring role in the boxing film The Fighter and he’s training hard in the ring.
And just he does for most of his roles, Wahlberg’s involved his buddies to help him with his next role, enlisting them to help him train. But just cause the rapper-turned-actor is an A-list star, doesn’t mean his buddies have lightened up on him.
“I hire my friends as sparring partners,” Wahlberg admits. “But then you realize how much your friends have it in for you. You see them lining up around the block ready to take my head off.”
Directed by Darren Aronosfsky, The Fighter is slated to hit theatres next year.
