Your cocktail makes a statement about who you are. According to the Modern Drunkard, each time you hustle up to the bar to order a drink, you revealing a glimpse into your very soul. Don’t think it’s all that serious?
Say your favorite cocktail is the Cosmopolitan. According to the modern drunkard, that simply means that “you didn’t start drinking until after your first divorce, and didn’t start really enjoying it until after your second.” Not too far from the truth?
One of my favorite drinks is the mimosa. How can you go wrong with orange juice and champagne? According to the modern drunkard a mimosa indicates that “there’s a song in your heart and diet pills in your purse.” No comment.
