What to do with your Leftover Halloween Candy
Posted on 05 November 2009 by Hilary
Trick-or-Treating can leave you overloaded with sweet treats, but don’t let that candy go to waste. We’ve got some fun ideas to inspire you to enjoy your leftover Halloween candy in a whole new way.
Instead of adding chocolate chips and walnuts to this Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, just chop up some of your fun size candy bars (we’re thinking Milky Ways, Snickers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups… your candy collection’s the limit) and add them to the mix! Trust us; candy bars really know how to make great cookies!
Leftover candy, like gummies and M&Ms also make great ice cream toppings! You can also try mixing in chopped up candy bars to create your very own flavor sensation. If you’re really feeling adventurous, try making your own French Vanilla Ice Cream and top off with your candy of choice!
