Ugly Betty's Becki Newton Presents Her Best Asset On Esquire
Ugly Betty beauty Becki Newton, 29, who plays Mode magazine receptionist Amanda Tannen is more than just a pretty face. She was raised at Christmas tree farm in Connecticut and has a penchant for laughing out loud at funerals.
In regards to the audition process for Ugly Betty's Amanda, Becki [who's only 5''3"] revealed to Esquire magazine:
"In my head, I saw a supermodel. I thought a tall skinny bitch should play this part. And then I thought, the only thing funnier than a bitch is someone who wants to be a bitch but fails miserably. That's hysterical."
