Britney Spears was ordered to remain under psychiatric care for another two weeks and confined to a padded cell, according to the Daily Mail.

The pop singer is being treated for bipolar disorder, which includes symptoms of aggression and violent mood swings, at a psychiatric unit in UCLA. An insider revealed:

"Another possibility is being confined to a bed by leather restraints. In extreme, life-threatening situations, when the patient is a threat to oneself or medical staff, a psychiatrist can inject a person with psychotropic medication."

A family friend said:

"She introduced Adnan as her boyfriend to nurses when she was admitted, and she hasn't stopped crying for him ever since. She was screaming for him in her sleep. The first night, she barely slept. She was up most of the night screaming for Adnan. It's obvious she really loves him, or she thinks she does, anyway."

Britney's parents have also banned Same Lutfi from seeing her, who was question questioned by police over an alleged burglary that took place at Brit's LA home. He has not been named as suspect, however, LAPD sources said:

"No one has been ruled out as a suspect and this is an ongoing investigation."
