Britney Spears' Father Confiscates Her Pink Wig!
Britney Spears' father has taken away her notorious pink wig to straighten up her act. Jamie Spears was seen carrying the Brit's beloved hairpiece this weekend in LA, reports the Daily Mail.The wig was confiscated by Jamie, who has been supervising his daughter since she left a psychiatric hospital last week.
The bobbed wig has come to signal the onset of a depressive episode, with her ex-manager Sam Lutfi revealing last month, 'when the pink wig comes on, it's getting bad.'
Hopefully wig-less Brit will get her act together now, go Jamie!

That makes no sense at all. If that’s true and the wig is indicative of an impending depressive episode, how is taking it away going to do anything other than take away the early warning sign that would enable those around her to prepare and get a better insight into her mental state??? My God. It’s like taking out the batteries in the smoke alarm so it’ll stop making that loud noise, instead of looking around for the fire and/or calling the professionals.
"wig-less Brit will get her act together now, go Jamie!" - Do you honestly believe the wig CAUSES the depressive episodes? And I suppose a craving for chocolate causes menstruation, too. Do you understand the difference between cause and effect?
If a child regularly picks up his teddy when he's tired, and you see the child pick up his teddy, you take that as a sign that it's time to get the child ready for bed. Taking the teddy away won't do a damn thing about the child being tired, it'll only remove one of his methods of communication and INCREASE his frustration and anger.
Why are people so damned STUPID about mental illness?
I think the wig represents a personality. If you notice she pulls off a few different looks with each personality.
