Penn Badgley Was Named After A Tennis Ball
Gossip Girl stud Penn Badgley, 21, revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine that his unique name came upon him from his father's nervousness. Penn admitted:
"My dad would grip tennis balls when he was stressed during my mom's pregnancy.
He was bouncing a Penn tennis ball when she got her first sonogram.
My mom casually said, 'He's about the size of the tennis ball'. And they were like 'Penn'!"
