The CW Currently Developing 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Spinoff!
The CW is developing a contemporary spinoff of Aaron Spelling's ground breaking 1990s teen soap 'Beverly Hills, 90210,' according to the Hollywood Reporter. Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is in talks to write the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network.
Details remain scarce, however The CW will decide whether to order a pilot by the end of the month. The spinoff is being produced by CBS Paramount.

Thomas back to CW, where his much-loved series Veronica Mars ended its three-year run last spring. This is the most exciting news I've heard so far in 2008. Just don't
screw it up CW! 90210, is one of the greatest television series ever
created, so make it proud! I also hope none of the old characters are in
the spinoff, maybe make a cameo, but I prefer remembering them as
Dylan, Brenda, Kelly, Brandon, Steve, David, Andrea and Donna forever.
