Blond beauty Jennie Garth has abruptly departed from a CBS comedy pilot My Best Friend's Girl, raising speculation that she will star in the CW's 'Beverly Hills, 90210' spinoff, reports AOL News.

Meanwhile, it was rumored that, Rob Thomas, who wrote the script for the '90210' spinoff, wanted Jennie to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor.

The character would possibly return to West Beverly High as a fashion design teacher.
