Disney/ Pixar has released this extended clip from WALL•E, opening in theaters on June 27. Directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), featuring the voices of Fred Willard, Jeff Garlin, Sigourney Weaver, John Ratzenberger, Kathy Najimy and Ben Burtt.
The film, written & directed by Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire and um, Elizabethtown), will go into production in January. Sounds great, right?

Despite all the naysaying and blog-backlash, Sex and the City proved its phenom-status and opened HUGE at #1. It snagged a staggering $55,740,000 over the weekend, making it the biggest romantic comedy and R-rated comedy opening of all time.
Indiana Jones came in 2nd with 46 million and in 3rd, a bit of a surprise, the Liv Tyler horror film The Strangers made almost 21 million.
With the Sex success, expect more film adaptations of television comedies, like Big Bang Theory: The Movie.
