According to the Simpson camp, the two mentally challenged love birds are very much still together, In fact Romo is set to escort Jess to little sister, Ashley's, nuptials this weekend.

Everyone is saying that they have officially called it quits.  However, no one is saying if they actually care.

“It’s fun to do a small film that might be released to DVD not because it’s a horrible film, but because it’s an independent film. For people to say Employee of the Month was a flop is ludicrous. We made the money back. that’s not a flop. For people to say The Dukes of Hazzard was a flop, it opened to $30 million! If these movies are flops, why would I still make them?”

Struggling actress Jessica Simpson is recovering from a recent hospitalization for a kidney infection which was the result of heavy drinking, reports Star.

An insider claims that the infection was brought on by drinking an 'obscene amount of alcohol' soon after she started dating Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

“She was a nervous wreck. She was three weeks late and convinced she was pregnant. She was feeling really weak and really scared. She was unraveling."

Last week Jessica Simpson was rushed to hospital with a serious kidney infection. Thankfully, she was spotted alive on Wednesday for the first time since she was released.

Jessica emerged looking haggard and exhausted, on a lunch date her mommy Tina, sister Ashlee, and Pete Wentz.

Jessica Simpson appeared on the Today show this morning via satellite from Kuwait, where she's performing for the troops. Jessica admitted:

"I haven't really gotten a lot of sleep! I'm enjoying all the troops and just having a blast. [I've] been signing autographs, done a couple rehearsals and [am] just trying to show my support as much as I can."

Later, she asked the troops, 'Hey, guys, do you like having me here?', and the troops cheered for her. It's awesome that she is having such a great time in the Middle East!

Buxom blond Jessica Simpson is hoping to record a country duet with her Dallas Cowboys quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo. Jessica is currently recording her next album which will include some country songs, and has asked Tony to sing with her, reports the National Enquirer. The insider revealed:

"Jessica has been schooled in publicity tricks by her manager dad, Joe, and she knows that a duet with Tony will attract major attention."
