Yes, You’re Going Broke

Right now, everyone’s wallet is feeling a little light. Mine sure as hell is. Yes it’s partly that I allow myself to be underpaid for what I do, but it’s mostly due to this nasty recession that we are in the middle of. I know, Pres. George W. would have you believe otherwise, but when banks start going bankrupt that does not mean the economy is doing well. The problem is that he did things in the wrong order. Somebody needs to give this guy a history lesson. First, you let the bottom fall out of the economy, THEN you go to war. You’re not supposed to go broke then go to war. Who the hell can we afford to fight to get ourselves out of this mess? Although we could sell off our WMDs, I think I know a few guys that might be interested in taking them off our hands.
It’s being predicted that 150 banks will fail before the end of the year. I personally believe the banks that will be failing will be smaller banks. I seriously don’t see B of A going out of business anytime soon. But just in case we are reverted back to the good ol’ days of The Great Depression, which means Shantytowns can’t be far behind, you may want to start hording your money in your mattress.
