Branded last night’s Breakthrough Star at the MTV Movie Awards, Zac Efron called the moment they called his name “frightening.” 

Zac adds, “It’s crazy. It’s the last thing you expect. I was up against so many fantastic performances – the entire cast of Superbad, almost, which was one of my favorite movies of the year.”

The super-dreamy star arrived hand-in-hand with sexy Vanessa Hudgens.  Of re-teaming with his kittenish girlfriend for High School Musical 3,  Efron admitted, “Everything’s been stepped up a few notches, all the dances, and I think the songs are pretty catchy this time around.”
